Finally the time has come: the program of NetSys 2021 has been compiled and is ready for you on the web page! Mathias Fischer and Winfried Lamersdorf have done a sensational job, even more so as it was not clear for a long time in which form the NetSys could take place. Please have a look at
https://netsys2021.org/program/
and see for yourself - we are sure that we will put on a great NetSys despite the adverse Corona circumstances!
And then put your enthusiasm into action right away and register - this is also possible in the meantime under
https://netsys2021.org/participation/
Best of all: this year, for the first time in the history of the conference (as far as we remember), participation in NetSys 2021 is free of charge - well, it will also take place completely virtually for the first time ;-) Nevertheless, we ask you to register, as we will send out the participation links to the individual events specifically.
We would be happy if as many of you as possible come to virtual Lübeck and realize NetSys 2021 together with us in spite of everything! Please feel free to pass on the information to your colleagues, also via social media. We will also be active there in the next few days and it would be nice if you could like and share our posts.
GATE.IO KYC APPROVAL TIME
Dear colleagues, dear authors,
We are all very sorry, but as in March this year, we will not be able to hold NetSys 2021 in presence in September either. We have really tried everything, but at the moment it is simply not possible to conclude contracts with the various providers of rooms, restaurants, etc. that will lead to a financially viable solution. The organizing committee had to realize that there will be no progress on these central points in the foreseeable future, so we now have to pull the emergency brake.
However, since the people responsible for the program around Mathias Fischer and Winfried Lamersdorf have really put together a great program, we would like to run the NetSys as a shortened online event in the same week as previously planned, in consultation with the KuVS spokesperson. Essentially, this means we will have the core event on Tuesday 9/14 and Wednesday 9/15 and the other events on Monday and/opr Thursday, if they are to take place at all. We will announce the program and organizational details as soon as possible on the NetSys21 web page.
Despite all this, we hope to meet in cyberspace in one form or another at NetSys 2021!
Best,
General Chairs Stefan Fischer and Horst Hellbrück
PC Chairs Mathias Fischer and Winfried Lamersdorf
The Conference on Networked Systems (NetSys 2021) provides an international forum for engineers and scientists in academia, industry, and government to discuss recent innovations in the realm of networked systems.
NetSys is a biennial event that originates from the key scientific conference on networked systems in German-speaking countries KiVS (Kommunikation in Verteilten Systemen) – which was initiated 41 years ago and has international orientation since 2013. NetSys is organized by the special interest group “Communication and Distributed Systems” (KUVS), which is anchored both in the German Computer Science society (Gesellschaft für Informatik (GI)) and in the Information Technology society (Informationstechnische Gesellschaft im VDE (ITG)).
